Visual Research:

Visual references from regions along the Silk Road became the foundation for three distinct flavor identities.

East Asia (China): The starting point of the overland routes. It supplied the network’s most famous export: silk and tea.

Central & South Aisa: Engaged in major land and maritime trade exchanges, introducing spices into the network.

West Asia (Mediterranean): Brought wine, glassware, and luxury goods into the network through long-distance trade.

Key Ingredient: rose, osmanthus sauce, jasmine green tea, elderflower liqueur, hibiscus and peach.

Key Ingredient: oat milk, vanilla cream, masala chai, brown sugar

Key Ingredient: lemon, orange, redwine, orange juice, gardenia tea.

Pattern Exploration:

A shared geometric framework brings consistency to the three patterns while allowing each composition to develop its own rhythm.

Packaging design:

The patterns wrap around the bottle as continuous compositions, using color and illustration to distinguish each flavor while maintaining a recognizable family.

Visual Applications:

The illustration was translated into a flexible application system across takeaway packaging and branded collateral.

Final Packaging:

Three flavors, shaped by the cultures and exchanges of the Silk Road.
